• “In Harmony” - NEWS!

From Ann Marie . . . You must love yourself before you can give love to another.

Watching the devastation of hurricane Katrina has reminded me of the Universal principle – you can only give what you own. We watched as those who had, gave to those who did not-food, water, housing, a helping hand, a gentle hug, tangible love in many forms. What you own, you can give freely. On the other hand, we also watched those who had no love to give, turn to looting, raping and killing.

Many experienced the divine principle–the more you give, the more you receive.
It is the Breath of Life. Giving is the exhale, receiving is the inhale.

From one person to another, the giving and receiving of the divine magnificence
allows us to perceive the presence of God in every area of our life.

There is no greater power than that which lies within.
Unleash this power - to transform your life and your world.

Empowerment

by Ann Marie Work

As I focused on the Rhythm of Organization, I began to contemplate the subject of Empowerment. I define empowerment as moving in the power and strength within to perceive and define the magnificence within yourself and others, and hold it sacred. I call this “honor”. There is nothing more divine than to honor yourself and all others. It is a lesson which faces many over and over again.

Can I step free of fear and judgment, to value myself and others enough to stand in my power and strength to demand honor in all situations? Whew! What a mouthful. This is one of those statements which seems easier said than done. It is so easy to slip into old patterns of regret, guilt, self-condemnation and overall “poor me”. Is it possible that the true root of being the victim is simply failing to honor one’s self and place the blame on another? As I have thought this through the following points came to mind.

• Embracing your Magnificence gives you the power and strength to stand in your truth.

Until a person acknowledges and embraces the Magnificence within, where do they draw their power and strength from? It would have to be from a dysfunctional place of fear and judgment. This would lead to an inappropriate use of power and strength creating dysfunctional behavior and dysfunctional situations in life–either being the bully or the victim depending on the situation. They always wonder why life is never as they think it should be.

• To honor yourself is to never allow another to place their power and control over you.

This means to move out of judgment and into discernment, (See the newsletter on Discernment) and use the power and strength within to move out of situations out of alignment with your truth. So what do you do when you find yourself in a situation where you do not feel honored? This is a very relevant question, especially if it is your job or your marriage. The first thing to do is focus on yourself rather than point your finger at someone else. You have allowed yourself to get into this situation and it is up to you to get yourself out. Embrace your magnificence, recognize your value. If you fail to recognize your value how can you expect any one else to? Once you have defined and embraced your value, make a plan. Decide what it is you want. Where are you feeling dishonored or disrespected? What would it take to turn this around? Begin with what is most important to you. The small things usually work themselves out once honor has been restored. It would be real easy at this point to say, “I will just quit and go someplace else”. The problem is, many have done this only to discover that the same thing happens all over again.

Why, because they have not yet embraced their value and moved into honoring themselves. Once you know what it is that you want, the next step is communication. To get where you want to go you must honor the other people involved in the situation by talking to them. Let them know what is bringing you distress and enlist them in working with you to bring about a harmonic resolution for all concerned. If this fails, the only way to honor yourself may be to remove yourself from the situation.

• Embracing your magnificence is the only way to discover your Truth.

How can you honor yourself or others if you do not know what the truth of your divine nature is? I think back to years ago when embracing my magnificence was totally foreign to me. I had no concept of what that meant and no idea where to begin. At first it seemed wrong, almost like it was a bad thing to do. It sounded egotistical and vain. Then I realized that I was a child of God and I had been taught that I was created in the image of God. That in itself made me magnificent and opened the door for me to discover the many facets of Love within me. This allowed me to find my truth and use the power and strength within me to stand in that truth. When I began to honor myself, it became easy to honor others and my life changed.

The Rhythm of Organization

by Ann Marie Work

The Rhythm of Organization is the last of the twelve rhythms. It is the rhythm of alignment, order, organization and structure. When this Rhythm fills your being it restores a sense of perfection throughout your body, mind and personality. It opens you up to see the magnificence of who you are and the magnificence of the situations in your life. This broadens your perspective on life, allowing you to let go of those things which no longer serve you and embrace those things in alignment with your soul.

This Rhythm emanates from the core of your being, through the sacroiliac and sacrum into the spinal column and out through the neuro-muscular system to the rest of the body. It is a key element in maintaining a vital cranio-sacral pulse and other functions throughout the body.

This is the Rhythm of acceptance. When you accept the magnificence of who you are from deep within, it allows you to perceive the magnificence of those around you. As your perceptions begin to change of yourself and the world around you, it allows you to give up anger, fear, rage and frustration with yourself as well as others. Lack of self acceptance is probably one of the greatest dysfunctions in our society today. On one end of the spectrum it leads to drug and alcohol abuse. On the other end it leads to limitation, lack of self worth and self-suppression. It is the root of egotistical and bullish behavior. When individuals appears to be “full” of themselves, the truth is, they are usually covering up their insecurities.

Picture the innocence of a little child in your mind who openly embraces life and shares their excitement with anyone who will listen. Their whole body is full of life and they bring delight to everything around them. They know that they are magnificent and embrace the magnificence of everything around them. They live from the divine nature within as they discover the world around them.

As a person grows up and begins to experience the dysfunction of the fears and judgments around them, this innocence fades. According to the Bible Jesus said, “Except ye become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven”.

One of the hardest challenges of adulthood is to let go of all those experiences of when you have gotten hurt as a result of your response or someone else's reaction to fear and judgment. This can create a cascading avalanche of defense mechanisms which can lead to systematic responses of rage, anger, guilt, blame, unforgiveness, anxiety, worry and depression.

The further one moves from being in alignment with the magnificence of the soul, the more closed minded and argumentative one becomes. The deep seated bitterness and disappointment magnify with each situation that is magnetically attracted into daily life, propelling a person further and further from peace, joy and fulfillment. The road back to contentment begins with the Rhythm of Peace and the acceptance of the magnificence that lies within.

On a physical level, the suppression of this Rhythm can lead to dysfunctions in the neuromuscular system and cranio-sacral system. It assists in aligning the nervous system with the rest of the body, restoring the physical strength and integrity of interactions between systems. The uninterrupted neuro transmissions throughout the body create the perfected synchronization of vitality on every level of physical health - we call this physical perfection.

Increasing the perfection on one level of your being increases it on all levels. Move into the Breath of Life and allow your life to be a reflection of the Divine Magnificence within.

Organization

by Karen Wagoner, Symmetry Instructor

Rich put great emphasis on definition, so I looked up “Organization” on my computer’s thesaurus. Following the words related to my feeling of organization was an interesting word trip. It took me to: Organization/order/stability/calm/harmony/peace/sequential/union/agreement/accord/unison/
marriage/connection/joining/together/unification/convergence/meeting/junction/interchange/
exchange/trade/operation/action/process. With that kick-start, my understanding of Organization
and how it expresses and supports the creative love of peace, joy and harmony expanded.

Organization creates order, enhancing our ability to access and use (action) anything instantly, easily (peace/harmony), and accurately. It denotes everything working together in harmonious perfection—in other words unity, oneness. Organization is the Divine Order of Life and Love, which enables us to of Life and Love, which enables us to operate at full potential with such ease that doing so is enjoyable, and always manifests the results that we desire.

This orderliness also denotes unification. Everything connected and working together as in a marriage—oneness—Divine Union. There was a time when I was wary of Oneness, concerned over the possibility of losing my identity. The concept of the benefits of oneness seemed clear, but the ramifications of how it would affect my individuality was not clear. Would I become only a tiny part of An-Other. How could I still exist if I became One? Upon the heels of my question, came this realization,
understanding, and perception:

          Oneness, Union, and Unity have
nothing to do with giving away
any part of My Self—including free will choice—
          or taking away from another.

Divine Union only occurs when I
          Support and Embrace the
Expression of Life and Love
within My Self or another,
by perceiving the Equal Goodness within All,
regardless of whether or not it is being expressed.

When I acknowledge another’s magnificence, a connection to my own magnificence is created and energized, resulting in an answering surge of that same energy within them, which increases the harmonic resonance within myself. We have the amazing capacity to be energized from within through our similarities, while retaining our unique individual consciousness.

However, it is only when I choose to honestly support My Self by embracing My Magnificence, and perceiving
My Goodness, that I will entirely experience the perfect, calm, harmony of Divine Union called Rhythm of Organization. I invite you to join me in experiencing our Magnificence!

Moving into the Rhythm of Organization

by Ann Marie Work

Turn on soft relaxing music*.
Sit upright on a firm chair, so your back is a few inches from the back of the chair.

Pay attention to your breathing.
You can feel your lungs expanding and contracting as you inhale and exhale.
Begin to gently rock back and forth in rhythm with the waves of the Breath.

Focus on the air entering the nose and moving into the lungs,
Then leaving the lungs and out through the mouth.

Open your solar plexus gently as you inhale, relaxing as you exhale,
Letting your whole body breathe with you, into the waves of the Breath and into the Peace.

Focus on the word Organization, allowing the calm of being centered and balanced to fill your being

And move on the waves of the Breath
Into the Heart,
Then up through your chest, and across your shoulders,
Down your arms, into your hands and fingers,
Up your neck,
Into the center of your head,
Across your face, in your eyes,
Through your mouth, jaw and neck,
Into your atlas at the top of the spine,
Cascading down and through your spine and back,
Breathing for a moment in your sacrum and sacroiliac,
Then moving into your hips, tailbone and pelvic cradle,
Down through your thighs and legs, and into your feet and toes,
Up through your abdomen,
Across your solar plexus,
And back into your heart.

Perceive the movement of this calm, gentle yet invigorating rhythm embrace your whole being.
Lift your arms and let your body begin to describe this feeling in movements,
Describing what organization feels like with your body, without words.

Then define in your mind what you are feeling using harmonic adjectives such as order, strength etc.

Return to your heart center and sit quietly, embraced in the Waves of the Breath,
Your solar plexus gently opening as you inhale, relaxing as you exhale.
Let yourself be filled with the pure essence of the divine nature of your being,
As you contemplate on the Magnificence that lies within you.

Proclaim, “I acknowledge the magnificence within me and all others. And so it is.
